FBTC SOCCER
The soccer program at FBTC is a yearly ministry devoted to teaching kids the basics of soccer and the fundamentals of living a Christ-like life. Our league is self-contained and strives to organize well-balanced teams for a fun, competitive experience. Games are played on Saturday mornings and practices on Tuesday evenings. League play runs from mid-August through mid-October.

PLAYER REGISTRATION
ELIGIBILITY
Children ages 4-13 are eligible to play in our league. (Children must be at least 4 by December 31, 2024 and no older than 13 by August 1, 2024.)
REGISTRATION PRICE
Registration is $80 per player. Registration includes team jersey and socks.
PRACTICES & GAMES
Team practices are held on Tuesday evenings and games are held on Saturday mornings. Our league begins mid-August and runs through mid-October.
EVALUATION NIGHT
Evaluation night helps acquaint our coaches with the players in order to build well-balanced teams for the league. Evaluations are NOT try-outs. All children will be placed on a team and have equal play time.

My child doesn’t know how to play soccer. Can they participate?
Our league is open to every child, no matter their skill level.
Where are games and practices held?
All games and practices are held at FBTC’s property located at 5300 Schillinger Rd S, Mobile AL, 36619. Click here for directions.
What is “Evaluation Night”?
Evaluations are NOT try-outs. These nights help acquaint our staff with the players in order to build well-balanced teams for the league.
Will my child get to play in every game?
Yes! Our coaches use a rotation chart to make sure every child gets equal playing time every game.Â
My child will be turning 4 later this year. Can they play?
As long as your child turns 4 years old on or before December 31st, 2024, they can play in our league.
My child will be turning 14 later this year. Can they play?
If your child turns 14 on or before August 1, 2024, they are not eligible to play in our league.
When does the league run?
Our league begins in August 13th and runs to October 12th.
What is included in my child’s registration fee?
In addition to playing in the league, the registration fee includes a team jersey and team socks.
How will I keep up-to-date on practices, games, and other information?
We use a team app to organize our league and keep in touch with our players.
Are there volunteer positions for parents?
We are always looking for volunteers for various positions including referees, field helpers, team helpers, and coaches. Fill out the volunteer form in the next section if you’d like to volunteer.

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Would you like to coach in our soccer league? Perhaps you’d like to volunteer as an assistant coach, field helper, or referee. We are looking for people that are willing to volunteer and serve in our soccer league! Open to FBTC members and player parents.
