2024 Mission Projects
Six mission trips in 2024 to spread the name of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
Mission Atlanta
July 19-23, 2023
Mission Atlanta is a family mission trip designed to engage all ages in the mission work of the gospel. Our team will be working with a local church planter to reach the local community through outreach events, community projects, neighborhood canvasing, and prayer walks.
Who can go?
This is a family mission trip. All ages are welcome! The team is limited to 15 families/rooms.
How much will it cost?
$750 per room for family/couple (Families will stay in a standard 2 queen bed hotel room). The price covers lodging, ministry materials, and some meals. Transportation is on your own and families can choose to spend additional time in Atlanta before or after the trip.
Braves tickets are also available as an optional activity. The group has reservations for tickets in the “Terrace Corner” of the stadium. Children ages 2 and under do not need a ticket. Tickets for ages 3 through adult are $31.
Where will we be staying?
We will be staying in a local hotel in Atlanta. Team members will be sharing a private hotel room with their family.
What will we be doing there?
Our church will be working with a local church planter to reach the city of Atlanta through evangelism and service projects. Service opportunities will include leading outreach events, community projects, canvasing, and supporting the church plant in various ways. Children are encouraged to come on the trip to help them learn and serve in hands on missions. There will be opportunities for everyone to serve!
How you can partner with this mission project:
· Go on the trip! Atlanta is a fairly short drive, providing an opportunity for more of our people to be able to serve.
· Consider making a financial contribution to contribute to a scholarship to help someone else go on the trip.
· Pray for the church plant in Atlanta to be used to spread the gospel to a city that desperately needs to be reached.
· Pray that our team will have opportunities and boldness to share the gospel.
· Pray specifically for the children that will go on this trip. Pray that their eyes be opened to the importance of missions and how they can live on mission every day.
Mission Southeast Asia
September 7-17, 2024
Our team will be working with our missionaries partners to help spread the gospel to an unreached people group in Southeast Asia.
Who can go?
The team will be a small team of 4 to 6 adults. There will be a moderate level of physical activity when walking in villages and cities.
How much will it cost?
$2600 per person. Price includes airfare, lodging, transportation, and most meals. A $500 deposit is due by March 31, 2024. Full balance is due August 1, 2024.
What will we be doing there?
Our team will be working with missionaries to help spread the gospel to an unreached people group. We will be prayer walking, making connections with locals, and doing evangelism with the help of translators. We will be working in a region that has a population of about 3.7 million people. About 90,000 of those people claim to be Protestant Christian by their ID cards, which is only about 2.4%. The need for evangelism is huge! On this trip, be prepared to step outside of your comfort zone to give the people in Southeast Asia a chance to hear and respond to the gospel.
How you can partner with this mission project:
· Sign up to go on the trip! Unreached people groups in Southeast Asia desperately need to hear the gospel.
· Give financially. The price for airfare travel to Southeast Asia is the largest expense and the team will greatly benefit from contributions made to help lower the cost.
· Pray for the local missionaries and their children, as life can be difficult for them being in land so far away and different than our western culture.
· Pray for the unreached people groups of Southeast Asia. Pray that our team will have many opportunities to share the gospel with people that have never heard the gospel.
· Pray for the logistics of the trip as there is a lot involved to make the trip to Southeast Asia.
Mission Toronto
October 5-11, 2024 & October 12-18, 2024
We will be taking two teams to Toronto, Canada, and partnering with Send Relief to meet the physical and spiritual needs of immigrants and the underserved. Our team will assist in ministry projects, outreach opportunities, food distribution, and evangelism.
Who can go?
Adults (age 18+). There are 12 spots available for this team for the first week and an additional 12 spots available for the second week. An up-to-date passport is required for this trip.
How much will it cost?
$1850 per person. Price includes airfare, transportation, lodging, and some meals. A $500 deposit is due by March 31, 2024. Full balance due by September 1, 2024.
What will we be doing there?
Our team will be partnering with Send Relief, which is a collaboration between the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board to respond to crisis by meeting physical and spiritual needs in Jesus’ name. Toronto is Canada’s largest and most influential city. It has a large population of immigrants from all over the globe making it one of the most multicultural cities in the world. Our team will be working through Send Relief Ministry in the surrounding areas of Toronto to serve displaced people, newcomers, and the underserved in the city. Our team will assist in ministry projects, outreach opportunities, meeting physical needs, food distribution, and evangelism.
How you can partner with this mission project:
· Come on the trip! There will be multiple roles for everyone to serve in different capacities on the Toronto team.
· Consider giving financially to help sponsor someone to go on the mission trip.
· Pray specifically that our team make tangible impacts for the people of Toronto, while pointing them to the gospel.
· Pray for the people of Toronto, specifically for the refugees, immigrants, and underserved. Pray that they have both their physical and spiritual needs met.
Surrender Tour
May 27-31, 2024
Surrender will share the gospel message through music at children’s homes, homeless shelters, addiction recovery facilities, and churches in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. This mission trip is only open to students and chaperones in Surrender.
Amazing Greys Tour
April 22-25, 2024
The Amazing Greys will share the gospel message through music at several places in New Orleans, Louisiana, including an adult day care facility, homeless shelters, addiction recovery facilities, and other sites. This mission trip is only open to members of the Amazing Greys.
Mission Mobile
March 11-17, 2024
Mission Mobile is a week to love and serve the people of our city. We will have 15+ mission projects scheduled throughout the week, so everyone can find a place to serve. Our goal is to have every member in our church serve in at least one mission project during this week.
